The Blue Wave Hits Woonsocket

An enthusiastic team of Crusaders at Woonsocket High School got everyone in the building involved in Blue Wave Dress Down Day last Friday, May 18. The leadership project was created by Crusaders to raise money for the women & children’s shelter at Family Resources Community Action. Students paid $1 and staff paid $2 to come to school dressed casually and wearing something blue. In one day, they raised a total of $465 for the shelter! Members of the project team are pictured above with Advisor Ralph Toribio (at center). From left are Kayla Grassini, Meghan Cortez, Ivyonna Caro, Lenny Chroek, Devin Chamberland, Idalis Santiago, and Aleisa Rodriguez. Team member Sebastian Mercado is missing from the picture.

Congratulations on your great project!
