Everyone Celebrates at Our 2015 Believe Breakfast – Slide Show

What a great morning! We welcomed nearly 400 guests to our 2015 Believe Breakfast at the Providence Marriott Downtown on Friday, November 13. Congratulations to James L. Carr, Jr., recipient of the 2015 Dr. Americo W. Petrocelli Distinguished Service Award, and Chanravy Proeung ’04, who received the 2015 Distinguished Alumni Award. Our keynote speaker, Paul Harrington, Ph.D., director of the Center for Labor Markets & Policy at Drexel University, delivered an address titled “Economic Recovery and College and Career.” Student speaker and Classical High School senior Yarisa Diaz ’16 spoke movingly about the support she has received throughout her years as a Crusader.

2015 logo v2We are thankful that so many individuals and organizations share our commitment to inspiring, supporting, and believing in the young people of Rhode Island. We especially thank our honorary co-chairs for this event: John Murphy, Sr., Chair, Home Loan Investment Bank; John J. Bowen, Chancellor, Johnson & Wales University; and Laurie White, President, Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce.

The 2015 Believe Breakfast was made possible by an amazing group of major sponsors. We are very grateful to H. Carr & Sons, Inc., for enthusiastically serving as Presenting Sponsor. We also thank and salute these sponsors for their generous support:

If you want to go far, go together.” Working together, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of RI’s low-income students. Thank you for believing!
