Crusaders Take the Lead

Kudos to all our high school Crusaders who are participating in leadership projects to benefit the community this spring. Above, the spectacular Faculty vs Seniors B-Ball Game at Mount Pleasant High School raised over $300 for Birch Vocational Center. At left, with Advisor Dwayne Clement, is the dedicated team of Crusaders who planned the event: Khunnary Voeul, Viengsavan Sayasene, Chavelin Romero, and Adedayo Monteiro. (Event committee members Alvaro Morales and Kenia Deleon were not available for the photo.)

Crusaders at the Juanita Sanchez Educational Complex ran a project called the “Crusader Clothes Collection.” At left, Nehemy “Junior” Theodore shows results from the clothing drive with Advisor Bobby Perry at right. Crusaders at Woonsocket High School hosted a Charity Car Wash that raised about $350 for The Tomorrow Fund at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

College Crusade leadership projects are continuing at high schools throughout Providence, Pawtucket, Central Falls, and Woonsocket. Congrats to everyone for your great work!
