The Honorific Program at the Crusade was established to help high achieving juniors and seniors explore opportunities for college and financial aid outside of the traditional options currently available. Each year, the cost of higher education keeps climbing, but there are numerous ways to help you offset those costs. Essentially, the mission of the Honorific Program is to ensure our students have the tools and skills necessary to apply and get admitted to selective schools that will best fit their needs academically, socially, and financially.
As an Honorific Scholar, you will:
- Start the college application process in the summer before senior year.
- Apply to pre-college programs at selective schools and summer internships.
- Participate in a three-week Honorific Summer Program.
- Apply to scholarship and attend Honorific-specific college trips.
Individualized college planning process
Once your senior year begins, you will be guided through the college application process each step of the way. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Essay writing assistance
- Common app completion
- SAT practice
- Financial aid application completion
- Fee waivers and more
During the academic school year, students will meet as a group with their College Admissions Coach for various workshops in the Crusade office or virtually, at their school, and on a one-on-one basis.
During the summer, students will participate in a three-week intensive summer program to gain in-depth knowledge of the college application process and apply that knowledge toward their own college journey to maximize their options and streamline their workload in the fall semester of senior year.
The application process for the Class of 2022 is now closed. The application process for the Class of 2023 will begin in early 2022.
