A Unique Summer Experience for Crusaders

CSE group at URI v2

brushing cattle at coggeshall v2In August, nearly 100 high school Crusaders learned valuable hands-on leadership skills at our 2014 Crusade Summer Experience program on the campus of the University of Rhode Island. With team-building challenges, interactive experiences, public speaking practice, scavenger hunts, and even a cultural Olympics, CSE packs a lot into a week! The field day on Friday featured a trip to Bristol’s Coggeshall Farm Museum, where Crusaders were immersed in the realities of 18th-century agricultural life.

Many thanks to URI for hosting our CSE program this year. We especially thank Joseph Pittle, Director, Conferences and Special Program Development at URI, who provided space for all our activities and made time to speak to Crusaders about the importance of education.

Thanks to Crusade Advisors Dwayne Clements and Ralph Toribio for the great photos!
