Why: “I enjoy being able to express myself, and my class is very welcoming.” Highlight of her senior portfolio: A piece of creative writing. Latest accomplishment: Being named All-Division in soccer. Latest challenge: “Keeping my grades up.” What encouraged her: “Motivation from my teachers and high expectations from my parents.” Advice to Crusaders going into high school: “Entering high school is a new stage in life, and you’re going to be a little nervous. But getting involved will help you experience more things.” What she’s involved in: Soccer, track, basketball, Glee Club. Parts she sings: Soprano and alto. Will attend: University of Rhode Island, Talent Development. To study: Sports Medicine or Pre-Med. Favorite Crusade program: Wheeler Summer Camp in 8th grade. Because: “It was fun, and I met a lot of people that I am still in contact with.” About my Crusade Advisor: “He keeps me updated on activities I need to do. If not for my Advisors, I wouldn’t be the student that I am today.” What she looks for in a friend: “Someone who can be honest and just be themselves rather than trying to fit into a group. Someone with a positive aura.” Biggest unknown about college: How the professors will teach. Dream job: Obstetrician. Or: A career in sports medicine. What she does for fun: Sings, plays piano. Hangs out with her best friend.
