Family Liaisons

Meet Our Family Liaisons

College Crusade Family Liaisons are our local representatives in the communities where our students live. Family Liaisons meet together regularly to share ideas and to give feedback to our staff. They provide families of Crusaders with information about our programs, help run our Family Engagement workshops, and keep parents informed about the many college-readiness activities that are available to them as members of our organization.

Ramon Albino

“I feel extremely privileged to have the opportunity to work for this organization as a Family Liaison, and to be part of a team of professional and wonderful people, through whom I have learned new and interesting things. In the same way, The College Crusade has allowed me to share my knowledge with all the parents who attend the workshops, as well as to learn from them to improve my life in a special way and grow as a human being. As the father of a Crusader, I have a great responsibility to lead by example.”

– Ramon’s daughter is a Crusader who attends college.

Jenny Garcia

“Being a Family Liaison is important to me because my son is a Crusader and I wanted to get more involved. I want to help other parents to understand how important and helpful The College Crusade is for young people.”

– Jenny’s son is a Crusader who attends school in Providence.

Patricia Duran

“Working as a Family Liaison gives me the chance to make a difference and encourage parents to help their children to reach their goals. I encourage parents to share valuable information from the parent workshops with their children, including the importance of using common sense, good judgment and decision-making skills.”

– Patricia’s two sons are Crusaders who attend school in Cranston.

Terri Rose

“The Family Liaison plays an important role.  We are a link with families and surrounding communities.  We get the opportunity to educate, inspire, advocate for and support our Crusade families, and share the information they can use to achieve success in life. At the same time I am continuously learning and growing with them.”

– Terri’s son is a Crusader who attends school in Central Falls.
