Collette Awards $6500 Grant to The College Crusade of Rhode Island

Funds support college readiness programs and services for students in two Pawtucket schools

Providence, R.I., March 7, 2017- The College Crusade of Rhode Island announces a $6,500 grant award from Collette that will help support innovative college readiness programs and services for students at Joseph Jenks Junior High School and Samuel Slater Junior High School in Pawtucket. The award provides important matching funds for The College Crusade’s federal GEAR UP grant from the U.S. Department of Education and supports personalized advising and afterschool programming for students at these schools.

“We are grateful to Collette for its dedication to improving educational outcomes in our local community,” said Andrew Bramson, President and CEO of The College Crusade. “These funds will allow us to continue working closely with Pawtucket students and families who are committed to forging a path toward postsecondary educational success.”
