michael camadeco2.jpgMichael Camadeco ’03 (Rogers High School) graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2007 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He is currently employed as a Design Engineer for The Boston Water and Sewer Commission in Massachusetts. Michael has also just entered the professional DJ scene in Boston, making use of a talent he developed at URI as a volunteer DJ for the university’s weekly Public Radio Show (WRIU 90.3FM).

Michael is grateful for the support he received from The College Crusade. “I worked hard to get good grades and scored well on the SATs, thanks to the Crusade SAT prep course,” he says. “I received the Centennial Scholarship to attend the University of Rhode Island. However, being raised by a single parent, finances were difficult when both my twin brother and I were planning on attending college at the same time. The Crusade offered us a valuable financial scholarship that helped us both attend and complete school.”

Michael encourages current Crusaders to stay on track with their goals. “I hope younger Crusaders have the same ambition that helped me to succeed,” he says.” I hope they utilize all the opportunities they are presented with to the fullest.”
