Saikon Gbehan professional v2Saikon Gbehan ‘01 (Central High School) graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2004 with a B.A. in Psychology, cum laude, and a minor in Business Administration. She went on to earn her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 2008. In 2010 she opened her own firm, the Law Office of Saikon Gbehan, LLC.

“I am grateful to have been a member of the first graduating class of Crusaders,” she says. “The program was essential in preparing me for college and helping me achieve my dreams. The counselors and mentors provided me with a lot of support, guidance, and encouragement.”

Saikon has a strong drive to achieve and an equally strong ambition to give back. She serves on the board of the Rhode Island Black Business Association and the board of The College Crusade of Rhode Island. She also is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is an Executive Committee Member of the NAACP Providence Branch, where she was the Legal Redress Chair for over three years, fighting injustices and serving as an advocate. Saikon is Children’s Ministry Volunteer at Faith Christian Center and has served as a volunteer to homeless women at the Providence Rescue Mission.
